I saw a card like this on mjalbrights blog a while back, and I knew I wanted to case it when I got this stamp set. she got it as an invitation from stampin up. Mines a little different but the same concept. I just love these colors together so pretty.

Inspired by my new stamps

So I wanted to make a bunch of new cards last night after my kids went to sleep but.......
they never went to sleep aaaaaahhhhhhhh. Not joking. We have had a little cold, plus teething, plus some other stuff going on so if it wasnt one kid it was the other that was up till finally they gave in at around 2 in the morning. So here is a card finally. I cased this layout from a card Cindy Lawrence made. but changed the stamps and stuff.

New Catalog 1st order yeah!

You will be seeing lots of new cards with new stuff on them so keep your eyes posted in the next couple of days!

Now to some people this sight may not be to exciting but to me its just heavenly. Seven, I repeat seven new stamp sets yeah! Thats hours and hours of fun new exciting stamping. My package with my first new catalog order came in today and just in time for labor day weekend my husband is going to be gone all weekend camping so guess what I get to do, stamp!

Two challenge Card

I decided to use Kristina Wereners color challenge with SCS sketch challenge together to make this card. I didn't even mean for it to turn out to be a baby card but these colors to me when put together just make me think baby for some reason.

So heres the recipe

Stamps:lovely labels, short and sweet.

Ink:Cocoa, choc chip,pink pirouette.

paper: bella rose dsp, regal rose, pink pirouette, vanilla, celery

Misc: celery grosgrain ribbon, scallop punch, 1 1/4 inch punch, 1/12 inch punch. blender pen, paper piercer.

Triangle Tri-fold Card

This card is so cute, and really easy to make. I used my bella rose paper which I think is my favorite of the new DSP papers, but that could change since I have my huge first new order from the catalog coming hopefully on friday if they ship it tomarrow cause I want to play this weekend. Splitcoast tuesday color challenge

Here is my card for the splitcoast stampers tuesday color challenge. The challenge was to use kraft ,rose red and black together, I added in a little white it just needed it in my opinion. I think it turned out ok it almost feels like its missing something i put the ribbon on at the last minute but im not sure that helped.

Taylors Cupcake Challenge

This is my first challenge from Taylors Cupcake challenge I recently discovered her blog and I fell in love with it here it is. This is her scetch for this last fridays challenge.

And here is my Card for the challenge this is one of my only cupcake stamps but I just discovered that I love it. Here are the supplies I used.
Stamps: Cause for Celebration, for a friend.
Ink: choc. chip, pirouette pink, riding hood red. white gel pen.
Paper: white, bella rose dsp, pirouette pink, riding hood red, choc chip.
Misc: scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 inch punch, choc chip twill ribbon, cherry is from summer picnic paper. chocolate brads from hobby lobby.

Box Bag

This is a box bag, at least thats what I think they are called they are really awsome! I saw the idea on Di's Handmade creations blog she has a template for a smaller one about card size she says go check hers out its way prettier than mine. I did want a bigger bag so I kinda tweeked the dimensions a little bit mines about ten inches high instead and I had to use two sheets of designer paper instead of one. If anyone wants the dimensions just leave me a comment and I'll get them to you I just cant remember them right now and its almost midnight and I dont feel like getting up and getting them. Heres the supplies.

Wedding cake card.

I Saw a card with a wedding cake like this in one of my card magazines and I wanted to recreate, mine is totally different but same idea.

Using some more of my retired paper.

Ink: Choc chip, pretty in pink, pomegranite, close to cocoa.
Paper: pretty in pink, close to cocoa, berry bliss dsp, whisper white.
Misc: pink 1/4 inch ribbon, on board chip board, silver and pinkish embossing powder(generic)
irredescent ice.

From the garden

This Stamp is retired now it was a hostess stamp from the last catalog, I've always thought it was so elegant and pretty. I dont know about anyone else but when I start a card with and idea (like i did this one) somehow it ends up totoally different that I was even thinking.

I Have all of this retired paper now that I bought cause I new I wouldnt be able to get it again.
I have been wanting to make a card like this cause I saw a card on SCS where they cut our the flower like that, but I dont remember what the rest of the card looked like but heres my version.

I was looking at my catalog this morning and I noticed the hawaii papaya paper color combination and I thought it would make a cute card so here is what I came up with but I'm not
sure I like it let me know what you think.

Summer Picnic Birthday

I dont really have any kids stamps, but my mom has been asking me to make some cards for her to give to my little brothers friends for their birthdays, I was excited when I got my new catalog and found out summer picnic paper was in it so i decided that is was the most kidish paper I Had

so I used the little cupcake from short and sweet and the wish big from the same stamp set. Hope its what my mom is looking for.

The other day I took A stamping on a budget Class on VC Rocks, By Trica T. and

she made a really good point that most of us are like I have to have that and we make

impulse buys and never use most of the stuff we have so I thought to my self this morning

Im going to use those buttons I got that I have had for a month and never touched. Im using Dreams Du Jour which I Realized I have been spelling Wrong for weeks. (De -Du) Anyways

I really love the new Bella Rose DSP its just got that old time quality but it fresh and pretty too.
