KWerner Color inspiration 39

Here is Kristina's Challenge for this week. At first I thought I wouldn't do very well with these colors but I ended up liking them alot.

Here is my card I used my sweet stems stamp set again, and my swiss dots cuttlebug folder to emboss the yellow I think it turned out pretty cute.

Tecc51(my first card in more than 3 months)

Wow I cant believe it has been so long, I'm finally moved and have my stamp room mostly set up I was so itching to make something and so I decided to make a card for Taylors Cupcake challenge 51 cute sketch Taylor.

So here is my Card I finally got to use some of my new rasberry tart Dsp and my new stamp set Sweet Stems. I think it turned out pretty good for having not made anything for a while.

Yes I am alive! It had definately been a while, life has been very hectic. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. The reason I haven't posted in so long is because I haven't been able to make anything cause my stamping stuff has been packed. We have finally moved. Goodbye South Dakota, Ill miss you maybe, or at least my friends. After a very hectic time we have a place to live in Billings and we move in on monday yeah It kinda sucks when you don't have a place to land we have been staying with my parents for the last week and a half and im sure they are sick of us. So once we get all moved in and I get my stamping room set back up maybe I can get a card made with all of my new stampin up stuff that I haven't been able to use yet. I cant wait, untill then Happy New Year Everybody! I cant believe its 2009.

Color inspiration Challenge 28/sketch challenge combo.

I wasn't so sure about these colors at first but I ended up really liking the combo. Cute purse huh. Of coarse if you know me you know I love, love, love purses. My Mom and my siser used to tease me cause I got a new purse every month.

Here is the sketch I really like it im sure I'll use this one again.

Here is my card, I was having such trouble with this combination and then it finally came together and Im pretty happy with it.

Stamps: Fabulous flowers, say it with scallops.

Ink: Ruby Red.

Paper: pumpkin, ruby, whisper white, autumn vine dsp.

Misc: whisper white taffeta ribbon, baby half pearls, square scallop punch.

Winter Post

I made this card a few weeks ago for world card making day, and for gina k's project for the troops. I love how this one turned out. I also love this ribbon but found that is is kinda hard to put on a card because it takes up alot of space.
Recipe

Stamps: Short and sweet, Winter Post.

Ink: Choc chip, close to cocoa, baja breeze, riding hood red, old olive

Paper: Riding hood red, old olive choc chip, baja breeze, vanilla.

Misc:riding hood striped gosgrain ribbon, dazzling diamonds, disigner label punch, 1 inch circle punch, I used my cricut to cut the oval, blender pen.

I am alive!

After a few weeks, I finally made a card, I have had alot of stressful and scary things happen in the last couple of weeks but the lord blessed my family and we were able to come through it. At the time of my last post I was so upset that I had actually packed all of my stamping stuff up and decided I wasn't going to even touch it till we moved in december. But my husband and my MIL convinced me that I shouldn't quit something that I love just because some bad things happened to me. Sorry I can't expound more but, I have been able to forget or at least try to forget everything and I was able to sit down yesterday and make this card for Jen Del Muro's Sketch for you to try. It was a cute sketch and I got to use a new stamps set I got three weeks ago and my new ski slope paper, and also some filigree brads that I got with my great rewards points from last quarter which I still cant believe I got and I doubt I will ever get again. So here is my card. I don't know how much I like it. Im thinking It might take me a little while to get some of my mojo back.

Just wanted to let those who follow my blog know that I probly wont be posting for a while, I love stamping but I have some more important things to take care of right now. Thanks for all of your support and greats comments on my cards they always made me feel good about something that I love to do.

Coffin Treat Box

Hi, I just wanted to share this cute coffin treat box that I made. I happened to turn on the tv he other day when martha was on and she was making this, so of coarse i had to try it. If your intrested here is the link to the template. Now im havent really made anything halloween cause I dont really have any halloween stamps but I just got a cute set from papertray ink and i used some of them for the front of the coffin. Maybe Ill be able to make a couple of cards before halloween has come and gone.

Here is what it looks like inside, this was all of he candy i had in my house.

I Just used black cardstock and some generic scrapbook paper I had laying around, the stamps are in black and pumpkin. the stamp set i think si called spooky sweets or something like that.

Taylors Cupcake Challenge 37

Time for another Cupake Challenge from Taylor, except this week I did not use a cupcake this sketch to me just worked purfect for the turkey. Here is the sketch. And here is my turkey, isn't he cute I have seen a couple of these on SCS I think, and have been wanting to try. I got to use some more of that awsome autumn vine paper I just love it. Recipe.
Stamps:None(the words are from chit chat rubons)
Paper: Autumn vine, choc chip, mustard, rust, sage, whisper white.
Misc: white gel pen, 1 1/4 inch punch, 3/4 inch punch, boho blossoms punch, scallop circle punch. 1/8 circle punch. Coluzzle.

Photo Album.

We Have this church craft day on saturday and this is one of the things we are making and the my friend in charge of this spacific project asked me to make one of them decorated for display so people can get ideas and stuff. Its this really cute photo album not really hard to make either.

And here is what it looks like opened up.

I used the navy paper from the prints pack and, some scrap urban garden paper. I also used some baja blue and happy everything stamp set. some not quite navy brads and some kiwi 1/4 inch circle punched. And the ticket corner punch, and some kiwi/vanilla satin ribbon.

Birthday stuff.

Here are some gifts that I made for my MIL for her birthday with a little help from Kaden.

Kaden and his grandma have a special thing with pumpkins so I wanted to make a card with pumpkins and I saw a card like this on someones blog dont remember whos and I thought oh perfect. It also happened to fit this weeks color challenge on SCS which was choc chip, tangerine, and kiwi. Oh and on the inside kaden drew a pic and Its stamped(from your favorite little pumpkin).

Ingredients: choc chip, kiwi, tangerine paper. Photo corners, word window punches. I used my cricut to cut the ovals but you could use stampin ups punches for them. choc brads.

Here is a really cool bag made to imitate the big shot one stampin up has now here is the tutorial for it. I made this to put her presents in.

Ingredients:rust and aumtum vine paper. Stamps:happy everthing, lovely as a tree. 1 1/4 inch punch. Sticky tape, chocolate ribbon.

World Cardmaking day, Cupcake challenge.

Happy World Card making Day Everyone, I hope everyone is making some cards and having some fun. If you don't know what to do today may I suggest that you go to Gina K's Blog and check out what they are doing for the troops for world card making day. Its Very inspiring and also she is having a drawing for ten different prizes for people who participate. I did another card for Taylors Cupcake Challenge.Here is the sketch.

Here is my card, you can't really tell in the pic but, I put dazzling diamonds on the cupcakes.

Stamps: Tree house stamps(cupcakes), the yum is from Seize the cupcakes(hero arts)

Ink:Adirondak pitch black, real red, old olive, baja blue(I dont have a bashful blue inkpad)

Paper:Real red, old olive whipser white.

Misc: green dew drops, dazzling diamonds, sewing machine, copic red markler, blender pen, dimensionals, glue dots for dew drops.

KWerner color inspiration 24

Time again for Kristina Werner color challenge, I really liked this one I want those plates they are so pretty.

Here is my card, I distressed the choc chip again by running the ink pad across it, I colored the flowers with stamp n write markers then stamped the image.

Recipe:

Paper: pumpkin pie, choc. chip,vanilla, kiwi kiss

Misc:white ep,copper hodgepodge,pumpkin 1/4 inch grosgrain, green dew drops.

Double Duty

I did a double on this card with the SCS Color challenge(Rust, choc chip,Baja) and Julee's Mojo Sketch.
Here is my card, I distressed the card base by sponging and running the ink pad across the cardstock. I wanted to put vanilla behind it but I was all out the square on the front I found in my scraps bin.
